Become a Member
If you are interested in becoming a member of the RMDS (and are 16 years of age or older!) then come along to one of our rehearsals.
Where?
Most rehearsals take place at St John’s Church Hall, Poulner at 19.45.
Do I Need to Audition?
Every new member wishing to perform will be expected to audition, but not necessarily on the first visit! All members wishing to take part in one of our productions are expected to audition prior to the casting of any show.
If you are not already a member, following a successful audition, you will be required to complete a membership form to join the society.
How Much is it?
There is an annual subscription, which is due within one month of the Annual General Meeting in February, or prior to the particular production in which you are taking part. Don’t worry, it’s not a large amount- only £40 for the year!
What if I Don't Want to be On Stage?
As well as recruiting new performing members we are always looking for help with our Front of House organisation, catering, licenced bar, costumes, scenery, stage management and props.
